Anna Cudny

Anna Cudny, PhD – an architect, urban researcher and educator. She serves as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Warsaw University of Technology, where she has been conducting courses on urban design since 2009. She is the author of an award-winning doctoral dissertation focused on analyzing the relationships between local communities and their living environments. Anna Cudny’s primary professional passion lies in designing and delivering workshops in architectural education for children, youth, adults, and fellow educators. Her pedagogical approach is grounded in the principles of neurodidactics, the development of relational competencies in education, and active teaching methodologies. She is a member of the Architectural Education Team at the National Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning. Her collaborations include partnerships with institutions such as the National Centre for Culture, where she co-develops the Archi-Adventure program. She also conducts original architectural workshops at the Warsaw Architecture Pavilion ZODIAK. She is a member of the curatorial team for the interdisciplinary :WCENTRUM project, which addresses the most pressing contemporary issues related to the use and planning of urban spaces (2022 – water, 2023 – noise, 2024 – costs). She firmly believes that the human being is the most essential element of the built environment.
