Bolanle Wahab, PhD, is a Lecturer and Researcher and former acting Head of Department of Urban and Regional Planning and also the Pioneer Coordinator of the Indigenous Knowledge and Development Programme at the University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners. His research interests are on sustainable urban development, community environmental planning and management, integrated waste management, housing conflicts, urban and peri-urban agriculture, disaster risk management, and indigenous knowledge systems.
