Darin Wahl is a PhD student and fellow with the Urban Resilience to Extreme Events Sustainability Research Network. His focus has been disaster risk reduction, community resilience, and transformative capacity and agency. Darin’s research aims to contribute to our understanding of the disruptions that extreme events cause, and how responses to those disturbances can build toward long-term social and ecological sustainability.
