Elsa Limasset is an environmental engineer at the French national Geological survey (BRGM), based in Orléans in France. She works within the contaminated land team in the department of Environment and Ecotechnology. She is particularly interested in sustainable brownfield redevelopment and the development of decision making tools for stakeholders, with a focus on degraded land or contaminated sites. She is also contributing to R&D projects looking into urban soils functions, their expected services and valuation methods, in the context of nature-based solutions.
