Ferne Edwards

Ferne Edwards is an interdisciplinary social scientist who has conducted research on sustainable cities, food systems and nature across Australia, Venezuela, Ireland, Spain, Norway and the UK. Her books include the edited volumes, ‘Urban Natures: Living the More-than-Human City’ (Berghahn 2023), ‘Food for Degrowth: Perspectives and Practices’ (Routledge, 2021), ‘Food, Senses and the City’ (Routledge, 2021), and the monograph, ‘Food Resistance Movements: A Journey into Alternative Food Networks’ (Palgrave, 2023). She is based at the Centre for Food Policy, City St. George’s, University of London.
