Georgia is an interdisciplinary conservation scientist and Senior Lecturer in Sustainability in the Office for Environmental Programs and School of Ecosystem and Forest Sciences at The University of Melbourne, Australia. Her research draws on the fields of ecology, conservation science, urban planning and design, conservation psychology, strategic communications and decision science to address critical environmental challenges, particularly those related to urban biodiversity and threatened species conservation, and engaging people with nature in a way that promotes acting for nature.
