Glenn Phillips began his career in the environment as a second-grader, bringing his collection of reptiles and amphibians for programs in his school’s kindergarten classes. More recently, Glenn was executive director of the New York City Audubon Society, where he expanded the organization’s science and conservation efforts, including programs to understand the impacts of pollutants on waterbirds in the NY Harbor and to reduce the risks for birds of collisions with glass. Glenn is the American Bird Conservancy’s Bird Collisions and Development Officer, and works out of New York City.
