Jean Ferus NIYOMUNGERI is a young Rwandan conservationist, born in Southern province, currently serving as a Community Conservation Officer under the Rwanda Wildlife Conservation Association (RWCA) which is non-governmental organization he started with. Currently, He is doing his master in” Biodiversity Conservation and Natural resource Management” a bachelor holder in science with honor in wildlife and Aquatic Resources Management. Since 2014, he started to work with “saving endangered grey crowned crane” project which was in partnership with RDB conservation department and he devoted huge amounts of time and energy to help establish some of the key project activities including the quarantine, reintroduction facilities and post release monitoring. Ferus likes nature, moreover, he is fun of soccer especially Manchester united. His interest is to be a good conservationist and to see people and wildlife living in harmony. If he asked to be an animal, he wishes he could be a lion “king of Jungle”.
