Joyce Garvey

Dr Joyce Garvey is a Scottish born visual artist and writer, living and working in Ireland. She is a graduate of the National College of Art and Design in Dublin with an ANCA and BA majoring in Fine Art and holds an MA in Film and a PhD in Creative Writing. She has written a trilogy of books on ‘women living in the shadow of famous men’, published by Original Writing Ltd Ireland and is currently collaborating with artist Frances Mezzetti on a five year art project on Lucia Joyce, dancer/artist daughter of James Joyce.
