Julia Stern is a sound & visual artist, composer of acousmatic music and therapist. Both as an artist and as a therapist her work bears on Presence, emergent knowledge, sensorial perceptions, introspective explorations, through immersive experiences. Creative and maïeutic processes are the heart of her approaches. She has studied Photo and Video at Ensad in Paris, then at le Fresnoy, Studio National d’Art Contemporain, and acousmatic music at the CRD of Pantin, where she realised movies as The Structure of the Diamond (2012) Searching for L frequency (2013) and interactive sound installations as Wishing Camp (2014-2015) Jungle Stories (2016), The Elements Opening (2017). She has studied Clean Language & Symbolic Modelisation at Terres Inconnues, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Integrative Coaching & Art of Communication at Noesis Institute. She is a member of the Meta Collective, an artistic collective based in Paris that explores relationships between Magic, Environment,Technology and Art.
