Karen Zumach

Karen Zumach is the Director of Community Forestry for the non-profit Tree Trust, whose mission is to improve the community environment by investing in people. She has worked amongst the trees and the people for nine years and has played a role in getting over 30,000 trees to their forever homes. A strong advocate for urban and community forestry, she is also the vice president of Minnesota’s urban forest council. She is a proud mother of two little girls who inspire her every day to work hard to make the world a little better.
