Dr Hora is a professor and the Environmental Engineering and Sanitation course leader at UFG. Her research expertise is in sustainable urban drainage systems and is involved in several research projects in the field. She has been a member of the team leading the Plano de Desenvolvimento Integrado da Região Metropolitana de Goiânia (Metropolitan Plan of Goiânia).
