Kevin Lunzalu is a young conservation leader from Nairobi, Kenya. Through his work, Lunzalu strives to strike a balance between environmental conservation and humanity. He strongly believes in the power of innovative youth-led solutions to drive the global sustainability agenda. Kevin is the country coordinator the Kenyan Youth Biodiversity Network, through which he actively engages young people at the grass-root level on innovative and sustainable solutions aimed at halting the current unprecedented biodiversity loss; by redesigning circular economy concepts and environmental policy advocacy. Kevin also sits at the global steering committee of the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN). The 2019 UNEP Young Champions of the Earth judge is also a DIAR Awards 2020 nominee for youth inclusion and diversity; and a Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) 202o Fellow.
