Kitty Connolly is the Executive Director of the Theodore Payne Foundation for Wild Flowers and Native Plants, a non-profit that promotes the use and understanding of California natives through horticultural education and a retail nursery. Since 1960, the Foundation has been carrying on the work of pioneering horticulturist Theodore Payne, who introduced more than 430 California natives into the trade. Today, the Foundation is the center for native plant education in Los Angeles County, with professional development programs, K-12 education, classes and workshops for adult learners, and a range of free resources in print and online to support Los Angeles’ transition into its native plant future. Our work is fueled by our belief that native plants deliver a beautiful and healthy urban ecosystem. Learn more at www.theodorepayne.org.
