Leoni Vollmann

Leoni Vollmann is a MSc student in the joint program of Urban Studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université Libre de Bruxelles after graduating from International Cultural and Business Studies in Passau with a minor in urban geography. Her master research will explore the benefits and challenges of urban green street transformations exemplified through the Superblocks in Barcelona. Therefore, she is analyzing the perception of stakeholders from various disciplines involved in the planning and design process on the new Green Axes and Squares of the larger Superblock model in Barcelona. Currently, she is working with the Brussels based NGO Urban Foxes on urban placemaking around sustainability, urban pedagogy and participation.
