Magali Duzant is an artist and writer based in NY and Zurich. Working with photography, text, publications, and installation, she has created commissioned public works for Memorial Sloan Kettering, Supercollider, ABC No Rio, and Artists Alliance Inc. Her work has been shown widely, including in recent exhibitions at Antenna Gallery (New Orleans), Fotografiska Museum (Shanghai), Three Shadows Photography Center (Beijing), the Queens Museum (New York), Olympia (New York), Centre for Contemporary Photography (Melbourne, Australia), the 2018 Mardin Biennial (Turkey), and at Gillman Barracks (Singapore). She is a regular contributor to LensCulture and her writing has appeared in The Syllabus Project, Passing Notes, Rocket Science Magazine, and Mercuria amongst others. Duzant holds a Bachelor of Humanities and Arts from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters of Photography from Parsons School of Design at The New School. She has published numerous artist books with Conveyor Editions including Light Blue Desire, The Moon & Stars Can Be Yours, and A Tree Grows in Queens. In 2023 her book The Dry Garden was published in conjunction with a solo exhibition at Antenna Gallery. Her 2024 book, La vie is like that, was published by Seaton Street Press.
