Mary L. Cadenasso is a Professor in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of California, Davis. She is a landscape and urban ecologist and her research focuses on understanding how spatial heterogeneity of an area or system controls system function and change with particular interests in ecosystem services and environmental justice.
