Mina Fallahzadegan

Mina Fallahzadegan is an architect and regional planner. She has worked for several years with The Renovation Organization of Tehran and also Tehran Urban Planning & Research Center (TUPRC), assisting in developing strategies and projects in the areas of the city which are highly vulnerable to earthquake. Her focus has been on open spaces, accessibility and landuse strategies. She became interested in the concept of community resilience to natural disasters while doing her master of Regional Planning in developing Countries (SPRING Master Programme). She did her thesis about the role of current Chilean planning tools in contributing to the resilience of coastal communities and she still keeps doing more research on the implementation of the concept in Chile.
