Odhiambo Ken K’oyooh is currently the Director in charge of Environment (Conservation and Stewardship) in County Government of Kisumu (which forms part of the Department of Water, Climate Change, Environment and Natural Resources). Previously Ken was a consultant in various consultancy services on matters of environment both in Kenya, Somalia and South Sudan. Ken is a registered Lead Environmental and Social Impact assessor with the Kenya National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) and has an interest in urban project environmental impact assessment activities and ecological studies. Among other papers Ken published a research paper titled Managing the Natural Capital of Papyrus within Riparian Zones of Lake Victoria, Kenya (Hydrobiologia 2011).
