Stephen Livesley

Stephen is an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne, Australia. His research investigates soil-plant-atmosphere interactions in natural and managed ecosystems, and the role of urban vegetation in providing environmental and social benefits, such as microclimate cooling, energy saving, carbon sequestration, biodiversity habitat and improved nutrient / water cycling. He co-ordinates the activities of the Green Infrastructure Research Group, a powerhouse in anything related to green infrastructure.
