Taida Garibovic

Taida Garibović is a marine biologist and ecologist from Zadar, Croatia. She is a Project manager at Eko-Zadar, a local environmental NGO, where she is working on a project called “B.hive: Joining Civil Society Organizations for Human Resources Development.” The project aims at building capacities of civil society organizations in Zadar County through provisioning free services, mentoring civil society organization, and promoting volunteering as a useful way of gaining new skills, professional knowledge and other expertise needed in the labor market. She is also developing other projects for Eko-Zadar that deal with agriculture, nature protection and human resource development in Zadar County. Taida has a master degree in Landscape ecology and nature conservation from the University of Greifswald, Germany.
