Timothy is an urban development and environmental planning professional with a background and qualifications in the social sciences and city and regional planning. In his role as a Green City Consultant at AIPH, the world’s champion for the power of plants, Timothy is responsible for progressing strategic partnerships within the Green City programme and for coordinating the AIPH World Green City Awards. In this role, Timothy works with local governments and partners to inspire a global movement for greener cities and advocates for the critical role of plants and nature in securing our increasingly urban future. Timothy’s interest lies in the nexus of humans, nature, and urban development in cities, and is passionate about enabling urban nature conservation and advocacy.
