Dr Wan-yu Shih is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urban Planning and Disaster Management at Ming-Chuan University, Taiwan. She holds a PhD in Planning and Landscape from the University of Manchester, UK. Her research interests lie in the interdisciplinary nature of ecological/environmental planning in cities. She has focused on climate change adaptation in cities through strategic green infrastructure planning and governance, looking at the complicated interplay between land use, ecosystem services, and socio-economic inequality of densely developed subtropical cities.
